Read on ladies for the newest and hottest trend to hit the sweet tooth table! We are all about bringing you things that are fun and super fantastic. Candy tables are no exception. Be they simply designed or elaborate overkill structures, guests absolutely become kids again, when they hit the candy buffet. Of course there are no rules to setting it up, but we've given you a few helpful hints(on our blog) on the D.I.Y. Candyland creations. For our most recent wedding, however, we took candy delight to the next level.

Sure guest can stroll over to a table, pick up a goodie bag and fill it to the brim, but what if the table comes to you? With the inclusion of our 40s style lounge reception at the Detroit Institute of Arts, we introduced what is sure to become the latest craze...CANDY GIRLS! Yes, instead of the guest strolling over to pick up a sugar rush, the rush was delivered to them, a la 1940's Cigarette Girls. So the next time you're looking to bring that extra star treatment to your event, dump the candy buffet, and doll it up, baby!
To truly maximize your candy girls, pick a theme that works best with your event, and incorporate their wardrobe. For instance, one other outfit we contemplated was a flapper girl uniform. Going for an 80's style reception..."Dress You Up In My Love" classic Madonna style! There are so many ways to change up the boring candy buffet with a more interactive experience for your guest.
